3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask@the imperial, walsall. Amber beer with small head and decent lacing. Aroma of hops and a touch of grapefruit. Taste is a little resin, some earthy yeast and malts. Decent beer.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hand pulled at The White Swan, Solihull. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy broken white head. The aroma is stale malt leading to a medium bitter flavour with a malty, weak hoppy, liqourice palate. Itís more like a session bitter than an IPA so Iím a touch disappointed.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Skunky, butterscotchy, not an IPA I am enjoying a lot. It is refreshing on this warm day.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Funky one - not what I was expecting. Has an organic real home brewed kind of character to it. Kind of sour and moldy tasting. More sour and muddled than bitter. Does not remind me one bit of an ipa. At first was very put off but it's kind of growing on me but not really.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. Hazy oranged yellow. Nice speckled cream head. I think I can see what they are getting at here, but itís an APA, rather than an IPA. Slightly flaccid and over fizzy, but the gentle, well-balanced pine spritz is present. A little water and sour malt. A fair to good effort.
