[cask at 2009 GBBF, Earl’s Court] Pours quite hazy golden orange colour with a Fuggles-esque hop tang on the aroma. Not that much citrus, quite dry. Fruity taste from the hops with a decent malty component in there as well. Quite nice but to be honest lost in the masses of beers sampled over the GBBF. I would certainly have it again, however [06082009]

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’10. Gold with white head. This is a slightly sweet and fruity beer with a gentle rose hip type note before an orange like hop, subtle then bitter. There was a sudden rush on it when it’s charm became known. Another beer damaged at GBBF?

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival Day 2, August 2009. Another workmanlike gold-coloured ale. No particularly striking features. Some slightly sweet notes. Distinctly fruity. Quite pale in colour but drinks more like a bitter than a golden ale.
