3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 bartlebier (459) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - MAY 9, 2013
33cl can courtesy of Allen, merci maat! - A DIPA by a Ticino-Swiss brewery going by Bad Attitude Dude and containing Centennial, Simcoe and Chinook...this could go either way. - Pours a deep dark orange with good adhesive foam. Simcoe on the nose, immediately apparent, pine and some burnt rubber/cat pee. Palate is initially pleasantly full, but then also quickly gluey and oily. Sweet, honey malts providing good backing to back up the blow of these potent bittering and aroma hops. Rather apparent alcohol fumes, with buttery notes coming to the fore as it warms. This, in addition to Simcoe, always give my stomach a hard time. That is more than just an attitude and just uncouth...dude.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 FatPhil (7496) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 6, 2013
Tap ( Viisi Pennia, Helsinki ) < br >
Nice deep woody red, huge rocky head. Big fruity caramelly aroma. Smells like it might be sticky. Relatively mild palate, soft and smooth, carbonation quite refreshing. Tons of caramel in the taste. Absolutely classic US style sweet strong hoppy IPA. Tons of sweet aromatic hops, but a good level of bitter hops too. Maybe a little bit too sweet and sticky, but drinkability high. Alas some alcohol appears later as it warms. Still remains highly drinkable.

Pours reddish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of sweetish floral hops, caramel and hay notes. Taste is smooth, stingy and caramely with dry bitterness and hints of floral hops. Finish is smooth and sweetish with surprisingly smooth hop bite. Quite nicely hopped, but a bit light bodied IPA.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 jookos (761) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 18, 2013
Tap. Reddish almost. Nose has piny hops, red berries (slightly candy-like), caramel. Body is quite dry and bitter, but doesn’t feel harsh, quite filling actually. Pine needles, some earthyness, dark caramel. Berries in finish. Quite an alright IPA, lots of flavour. Is a bit rough around the edges, some leafyness in the hops. But easily drunk nontheless.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 dresden (519) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - MAR 9, 2013
Thankfully i opened this over the sink, which is actually very rare - exploded. Tons of foamy head but it sand and laced very nicely. Lacked a strong aroma, didn’t even really pick up the simcoe. Taste is pretty nice of sweet caramel and grassy hops. Some graininess, and some orange citrus. Not bad by any means, not very stand out either.
