3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
CAN 33 CL from CH-303.
Look: hazy copper, a bit of gushing created a huge beige head.
Aroma: Light sweet citrus hops with light resiny/minty notes and light caramel candy sweetness.
Taste: hoppy, some resins, light to moderate bitterness with tannic notes. Balancing malts. Very light alcohol notes when it warms up. OK.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Drank as a draught. The taste is quite strong and has a malty flavour to it. There’s an unpleasant boozy aftertaste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: DEC 16, 2014 330ml can served in a pint glass.
A: First of of all, a beautiful can art. A tribute toThe Big Lebowski, which I’m a big fan. Great movie: great can art! The beer has a dark amber color when poured. A little bit fuzzy. It forms a big bubbled tan head. A bit soapy and with good retention. Some lacings are formed and left in the glass
S: Very malty with strong notes of flowery hops (according to the brewery, Chinook, Centennial and Simcoe). Some light notes of caramel and brown sugar. Notes of grapefruit
T: Sweet malts upfront. Caramel malts, brow sugar. In overall, a dry and bitter taste. Notes of grapefruit and pine
M: Heavy body. Good carbonation. Malty and bitter aftertaste
O: Good drinkability. I would dare calling it a double IPA but it doesn’t taste like a classic IIPA. In any case, "a nice brew, Dude"

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at Ei8ht Ball in late June 2014. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, caramel, some oxidation, grapefruit citrus, with mild bitterness. Seems like the hops are faded. Also I like my DIPAs to have bigger bitterness and flavor.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Intensiv hopfiger Antrunk mit minimaler Säure. Angenehm fruchtig, dann würzig malzig, was auch den Nachgeschmack dominiert. Rund, süffig, gelungen. 12/12/12/12/12/12

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Reddish caramel color with off white foamy head. Standard grassy, pine hops with sweet malt. Good DIPA...even better as I’m in an ale starved country. Nice change of pace

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 33 cl can into a tall schooner. Aroma of strong hops and bread. Pours a dark orange carmel color with a huge dense tan head - too much head despite a gentle pour. Tastes sweet with a nice sour tang. Not over the top hoppy but not simple either. Good round oily feel, with an astringent finish. I liked it showing more balance than so many of today’s hop heavy IPAs.

From the can. Slightly hazy amber pour with a white head. Aromas of citrus and floral hops. Flavor is well-balanced with plenty of malts and hops. Very drinkable. The dude abides.
