Had this labeled as "Hippie," and put it here as others have done, since the labels are identical (besides the name). Aroma: Grassy, crackery, a little white raisin- just smells like a slightly big pils with some light fruity esters. Appearance: Slightly hazy light yellow pour with a white bubbly head that settles into a white ring. Flavor: Pretty much matches the nose; grassy up front with a lean cracker dryness; white raisin is just as light as the nose, and shows up toward the finish. Palate: Medium body, sticky carbonation, soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Nothing terribly special to me, but solidly made. Nice to have an Impy Pils without a bunch of crazy off-flavors or sticky sweetness.

Schaumig und blass. Recht eigenwillig weißwein-säuerliches Pils, dessen Nachgeschmack lange anhält.

sets off with a nice IPA-nose (melon, grassy, oranges) and is thoroughly easy drinking, with a nice subtle tartness, finishing off with notes of white wine. A refreshing summer beer!

4oz on tap at Max’s. Labeled on the menu as "Bad Attitude Hippie - Imperial Pilsner". Clear golden color. Thin ring of off-white head. Leaves decent, thicker lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, kind of crisp lighter carbonation. More dry finish, with sort of a lightly rougher texture to it. Moderate sweet taste, light to moderate bitter, light spiciness. Caramel malt, some belgian yeasty funk to it. Lightly spicy. Ok strong pilsner, if that’s what this is... Just tastes like another hoppy weird funky belgian ale to me. I’m assuming these are better at the source.

Keg at Tuulensuu. Golden color, medium-sizef white head. Metallic grainy aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Flavor is grainy with typical organic vibe. Waterish. Tastes more like industrial than craft product.

Draught @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a small head. Aroma of bread, some grainy notes and grassy hops. Flavour is very clean and grassy, with nice crisp bitterness, some spiciness, earth and mild sweetness. Alcohol is quite well hidden. Medium bodied. Clean and enjoyable.

(33 cl bottle from Casa Evaristo; BBD: December 20th 2014) Pours a hazy golden with little, off-white head that quickly turns into surface film. Some lace. Aroma is weak pilsener hops with a slightly metallic hint and some ’soapy’ coriander in there too. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium body and a short, crisp finish. Flavour is well balanced. Decent and drinkable although beer geeks may make the wrong associations, when seeing this beer described on the label as a "Pilsener Wine".
