Pours a very hazy yellow gold. Aroma is sweet cereal malt with an unwelcome note of prune. Taste is crisp euro hops, some floral notes and a slightly herbal finish. Odd and hard to define but it does taste less than fresh despite the expiry date of Feb 12 2013.

Draft. Hazy yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of subtle straw. Taste is cardboard and white pepper. Plain, bitter, lager-like.

On tap at churchkey. Hazy yellow pour, lacy white head. Aroma is grainy, light fruity hop. Taste is really grainy, berry sweetness, no real alcohol, pretty tasty if a bit "dirty" some yeasty flavors. Palate is light and crisp. I dont get all these low ratings, this beer was in top shape when I had it.

Draft at Churchkey. Hazy yellow pour with a frothy white head. Nose and flavor marked by minty and floral hops, touches of grass and chamomile, very tea-like for a pils. Semi-dry, sweetness is the only hint of the higher alcohol. Ok.

From a tiny little bottle with a cool label... Initially thought it was just an OK pilsner, but with time enjoyed it more.

Tiny bottle. Is this a Swiss thing, or do the Swiss find this to be a little weird too? I’ll have to travel and find out for myself. Anyhoo, this poured a slightly hazy bright yellow with a thick white head that showed excellent retention. Aroma was grainy and a little grassy, Saaz perhaps? I don’t know, I’m no expert but it has that slightly skunky personality that I actually dig quite a bit. Flavour is clean cereal grains with more grassy hops and a definite lemony citrus quality, fresh pineapple too. Hey, this started off as a pretty unremarkable (but inoffensive) lager, and in the end I liked it more and more. You little sneak-attacking bastard beer! I actually enjoyed your tiny-assed bottle!

Bottle from Blue Dog. Pours hazy very deep and luscious gold color with 3-finger white head that laces well. Nose is floral, pale malty with Saaz hops, some sweet marmaladey hints, and mild honey. Tastes rich, floral, somewhat sweet, with pale malt, marmalade, apricot, honey, and grainy funky pale malt, along with Saaz hops, and a complex finish.

Bottle 250ml.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, grass, moderate yeasty, fruity, leather notes. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dry, yeasty, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120316]

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2012 Really disappointing. Hazy Lemony colour with not much head. A bit of grainy aroma, but pretty faint. Slightly sweet, biscuity taste, some slight bitterness, sour, lemon. Really not much going on here. Abv completely masked.

sulawang (408) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 14, 2012
pours darkish orange, small head, micro CO2. Some barley on the nose. Drinks pretty creamy and smooth, good bite in the mids, tastes of light barley, yeast, soft hops, mild dry bitterness in the mids, finish with progressively harsher bitterness and hoppiness. Trace amounts indistinct floralness but otherwise, low-medium complexity, medium depth, good transitions, okay carry, easy drinkability, med-long bitter length. A bit above average, but nothing special.
