From a tiny little bottle with a cool label... Initially thought it was just an OK pilsner, but with time enjoyed it more.

"Hippie". It is an unfiltered pilsener with a hxy golden body and fluffy white head that leaves some nice lacing. Smell is of grain, thick noble hops which are citrusy and herbal, slight malt sweetness. Flavor is sweet up front, kind of metallic, a mess in my opinion. Impy pilseners continue to baffle me.

pours a hazy golden colour with decent white head that nicely laces the glass. Aromas pale malts, yeast, grassy hops. Flavour is somewhat plane, some sweet pale malt, mild hop bitterness. Overall not a bad beer, could be more crisp for a pilsner and for a 7.62 abv beer it seems more like a 5.

Bottle. As Hippie. Pours cloudy golden orange with white head. Nose/taste of pepper, malt, light woody pine, lemon and baked bread. Medium body. Finishes baked bread and peppercorns.

Bottle. Poured hazy golden color with an average to large frothy off-white head that was lasting and produced excellent lacing. Good moderate grass hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate grass bittersweet flavor with with a moderate bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good brew.

Labeled hippie. This is a pretty decent beer. Has a good dry pils aroma, looks fine. The flavor is a bit on the plain side, not real crisp. Could be better. Seems more like 4 or 5 %.

Tried this beer in the bottle. Aroma: citrus, hops, yeast. Taste: fresh cut grass, light citrus notes, light hoppy aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: (this one is labelled "HIPPIE", rather than hipster, I assume it’s the same thing.) Pale cloudy, gold with a huge, tall, off-white head. Scent is grainy malt, lemon, yeast. Taste is a creamy, herbal hop, yeasts and grass. The hop bitter starts to get a little "off", somehow.... Imparts a sensation of "almost sour"... One and done on this one.

Very good cold. Strong saazy aroma, and saaz/hay flavour. No alcohol flavour. Drank it over a couple hours -- no more than that -- and it was feeling paperish at the end. Could be my fault, but it usually takes a beer half a day to reach that level.

Pours a very hazy yellow gold. Aroma is sweet cereal malt with an unwelcome note of prune. Taste is crisp euro hops, some floral notes and a slightly herbal finish. Odd and hard to define but it does taste less than fresh despite the expiry date of Feb 12 2013.
