2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
aroma: hay, grassy blunt hops,
appearance: too dark color, too hazy, frothy head
taste: blunt and short lasting bitterness
palate: too fizzy, abrupt watery finish, thin texture
overall: too much rye malt, didn’t impress me like Le Trois Dames IPAs, Amarillo was much tastier in Armadillo Single Hop IPA from Polish Brewery Widawa. 330 bottle Drinks of The World Zurich

(funny little 33 cl bottle from Casa Evaristo; Bbd: December 20th 2014) Pours a dark copper with medium, tan head that has decent retention and leaves beautiful lacework. Decent regeneration too. Aroma is hopped and in a way where the hop smells like it came right out of the bag. That’s impressive. I think there’s some underlying toffee malts there as well. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium body and a soft, slightly sweet and fruity finish. Flavour has aroma notes and slight fruity sweetness, which compliments the hops well. Not an agressive IPA and with a very elegant and tasty malt profile far from being bonedry but also not vulgarly sweet and resiny. Would definitely drink again given the chance.

Botella 33cl. En el Lúpulo Feroz. Aroma muy escaso, al igual que su amargor y espuma. Como IPA no da la talla es muy mejorable (13/02/2014)

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma: citrus hops, but not very strong, some light caramel malts. Appearance: dark hazy brown, quite foamy brown head. Taste: light bitter, bit sweet as well. Palate: dry, medium bitter, quite long, medium carbonation. Overall: OK IPA, missing the hops a bit. Bottle from Drinks of the World Zurich HB, Switzerland.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Botella de 33 cl en el Lupulo. 21-12-13. Ipa bastante floja.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a cloudy deep copper with sediment, a large rocky head and moderate lace. Aroma is grassy, and biscuits. Aroma is a bit on the week side maybe this is losing its hop presence with age... Taste is grass, mild bitterness, mild fruity esters(not very definitive maybe grapes) and some faint bready like notes. Kinda torn rating this one because they didn’t really brew it to an exact style I think they were just going for session ability.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nutty brown color, good creamy beige head, lace. "Sweaty" Nelson Sauvin aroma (hints of barnyard?). Medium-bodied. Nelson Sauvin exotic fruityness mixed with caramelly maltyness.A bit too yeasty but has potential.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Really cool, 33cl hand grenade bottle pours a muddy brown with some creamy, bright white head. Nose was interesting, a ton of apple, some lemon, orange, malt. Flavor is very odd, malt, brown sugar, apple, pear, some lemon rind, something a touch sour towards the end. Watery finish. Not an IPA at all. Looks, smells, tastes like a brown ale. Not terrible, just way off stylistically.

bottle at mowbeer’s 30th beerday party, thanks to chris for bringing this. clearly this beer had seen better days - aroma strongly resembled cat urine, rancid garbage juice flavours. even with 4 of us sharing one bottle, most of this was tipped out
