2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Blue Dog. Pours turbid clay brownish with ruby hints and a finger of creamy well-laced off-white head. Nose is vienna malty, hoppy, with earthy figgy fruit notes and some mild off notes. Tastes earthy, malty, grainy and corn flakey. Medium palate heft and complexity. This is a standard amber ale with a bit more malt kick late.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours amber with white head, there is a touch of haze, good hoppy bite from the Nelson Sauvin and Amarillo. Bitterness stays, even a little stinging, touch of cheese on nose. Enjoyable but a middle of the pack IPA.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
pours with cola brown with a thick foamy head. A bit of roasted coffee on the nose. Drinks half creamy, half fizzy, tastes of burnt coffee, bitter dark chocolate, thick heavy malts, and some astringency near the lingering bitter finish. Medium complexity, medium depth, okay transitions, okay carry, okay drinkability. Has some jagged edges and not exactly refined.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
small cute bottle with a bad attitude and a high price. Wasnít going to spend the 5 or 6 bucks but it did say "IPA" on it!! Loses a mark from average when it pours out almost pure foam and I have to wait 10 minutes to pour 330ml of IPA in a 500ml glass. Dark copper beer. Woody hop flavour is OK even pretty OK but not enough to export around the world.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Deep honey brown with some orange hints, with a massive, massive tall soft fluffy ca. Giant bubble creators are forming on top as I wait forever for the cap to settle down. The aroma is SOFT!! lemon, diluted fresh cut pine, mild spice and other stuff round out the aroma. Nice beer, easy to drink not to intense, nothing wacky, just a clean by the books IPA. Lemon, sweet malts, lingering bitter, soft spice.......Why does this bottle look so small. Lots of dirt in the aftertaste. I like this completely average IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml brown bottle. Amber-deep gold colour, light haze. Creamy and airy beige foam that sticks around for a long time, lacing everywhere. Nose has grapefruit and oranges, zesty. Some nice contrasting caramel malt behind. In the mouth the beer has light citrus up front, some grains, a little caramel. Decent grapefruit aftertaste, some light earth sneaks in there as well. Mild carbonation, lightish body, goes down easily, overall a nicely hopped amber.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Somehow this bottle actually contained 330ml. Poured out a very dark amber brew, hazy to boot. I had to pour it in 3 parts as the crown created is neverending. It also stays forever. Solid yellow thinking citrus aroma backed by a mellow and sweet caramel. now that itís opened up thereís some peach, mild evergreen that on that warner side can almost go unnoticed. There is also a small fragrant perfumey note tied into a faint spice. This game 3 of the flyers/pens rules. Best entertaining hockey in a while. Good fruity citrus flavour, pine, weird something that owns the middle, peach, grapefruit + bitterness, caramel, something else but I ran out of beer. Early on the carbonation was too high. Nice beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle pours a hazy amber color with a huge off-white head that settles slowly to reveal a nice array of lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus with hints of caramel and light toasted grains. Taste is citrus and earthy hop bitterness with an underlying malty sweetness. Medium bodied with some decent carbonation and decently balanced flavors. Overall, quite a decent IPA which I enjoyed sampling.

Dark amber color, hazy, with small head. Nice, mild aroma of caramel and hop. Good caramel flavor, very moderate sweetness, quite good hopping, some resins and some fruits; balanced.

Hazy dark amber color, with creamy head, beige. Aroma of malt, hop, puke, yeast. Caramel flavor, with decent hopping level, mild hop resins, very light piney touch, and long final.
Now labeled as IPA, this is still an hopped Amber Ale, drinkable but not exciting.
