Stubbie bottle that took a surprising amount of time to pour. Seemingly typical ipa aroma of pine and caramel. Pine isn't potent, and a bit more grassy funk. However as the beer warms, the aroma weakens rather substantially, leaving more grassy funk and very much less pine or citrus. Appearance is cloudy amber. Where I dumped the last of the bottle head foam in, it left a funnel cloud of suspended particulates down the core of the glass. The taste is rather disappointing. Very bland, wet grass and mud. Extremely watered down toffee that's rather tough to find after smelling this deceptive creature. I expected an overly carbonated beer but actually didn't turn out too bad in that aspect, but still rather high. Cripes. This beer was such a thieving stobe-light bar star whore that you wake up next to after they shit and piss themselves in the hourly hotel, goat hair filled coin operated mattress bed, where you contracted their STI's. So, all in all, not the worst experience I've had. But for a mix of Nelson Sauvin and Amarillo, I'd expect way more out of this.

Un poí incostante recentemente, ma generalmente molto buona. Líaroma Ť deciso e caratteristico, líamaro intenso ma non stancante.

330mL stubbie to flute
Aroma of alcohol, some caramel, toasted malts, plum, and pine. Appearance is a dark cloudy amber with some particulates, a huge frothy head that settled quickly. Taste is long lasting bitterness and malt. Nice medium body but a bit watery.

Bottle. Mahogony beer with a dark cream head. light malt aroma. Caramel and light earth flavor. Medium bodied. Caramel and light toffee lingers with light grapefruit.

This doesnít really smell or taste like an IPA to me. Has a very dry pils-like finish. Otherwise the flavor is just a bit boring.

Pours a rose tinted brown with a thick tan head.
Scent is candied fruit, hops.
Taste is caramel, coffee, black pepper, malt, herbal hops.
Kind of a rough sort of bitter.
Calling it an IPA may be a bit of a stretch, but itís not bad, whatever you call it.

Tried this beer in the bottle. Aroma: citrus, floral hops. Taste light citrus and not quite there hop notes; not balanced to well.

Bottle 33 cl from Bier-Bienne (CH). Orangy-bordeaux, nice pale ochre foam and intense crackling. Franc hoppy aromas, grapefruit, herbs, pine. The mouth is mossy, bitter on a malted and caramel support. Notes of flowers, hay, grape, lemon, grapefruit and zest. Too dry and rough to be thirst-quenching.

Bottle at Punto Birra. Cloudy brown pour with an off white head. Weak hop notes, slightly medicinal, not well balanced.

This was hardly an IPA at all, how many flavours is it possible to pick out of this? Caramel is the strongest. Amber ale is more like it. Fine, but not worth the price. I could see this doing well in 2012 Mississauga or 1981 back sticks of BC, but 2012 Vancouver Island? Thatís like exporting English wine to Burgundy.
