The first Bad Attitude that didnít explode on opening. Really no head at all, in fact. Pretty bland as far as the style goes, sweet with a bit of alcohol with tinny hops but at least a nice caramelly boozy body.

The pour looks like mixed orange soda and root beer with not much head. Aroma is dried fruits, sherry wood, alcohol. Flavour is fruity, nutty, with light toffee and caramel. There is a bit of a sharp hop edge, that doesnít seem to work, but other than that itís not bad.

Bottle, Dec. 24th Beer Advent Calendar-- the last instalment of a truly outstanding gift for Christmas! Medium brown with golden highlights, not much head formation, and whatever there is, itís gone quickly, giving the appearance of a still beer. Aroma is caramel with distinct apple and cherry notes. Sweet caramel, kirsch-like cherry notes, tart finish. A tad thin, given the ABV. To me, this is more of an English strong ale rather than an American strong ale; the latter for me is defined by the hop structure and content, and there is no hint of any hops here other than a pithy dryness in the finish. A lacklustre exit to an otherwise exceptional craft beer advent gift.

330ml brown bottle. Last bottle from the Craft Beer Advent Calendar 2012. Dark orangey pour, hazy, thin white head. Nose is a little lemony, caramel hints, mild fruity notes. Taste has grains, wheat, caramel, touch of cherry-like fruit. Slight tang at the end, citrusy, bit of grass. Lighter body than expected for a 8+ percent brew, carbonation is light. Doesnít exactly scream American strong ale to me, but I ended up enjoying this.

Pours a murky reddish amber with a small off white ring. Aroma of roasted malts, spice, some fruity citrus sweetness & caramel. Taste is caramel and sweet roasted malts with some grassy bitterness on the finish. Decent beer but something is unbalanced.

Dec 24 CBAC. Copper with light head. Smells like brown sugar or fudge. Tastes similar to the scent. Body is lighter than expected. Alcohol note, some ripe grapes and pears and the fudge note.

(33cl bottle) 2012 Advent Calendar. Quick dissipating white frothy head atop an orange ruby body. Nose of canned vegetable and alcoholic English hops. Somewhat gross. Hard to believe that a nearly 8.5%abv fell apart like this. Watercress, tomatoes and bitter hops. Sorry but this didn't work. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPod

330ml bottle pours a brownish orange color with a small white head that leaves a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel with some light citrus. Taste is a citrusy and earthy hop bitterness with an underlying caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. A decent winter warmer style brew that is only lacking the usual winter spices.

Poured out a reddish mahogany brew with plenty of sediment and a very compact light tan head. Wonderful lacing with silty movement. Roasted malty nose, steak spice, smooth caramel, Swedish berries candy, oats, wonderful aroma. That steak spice thing has really mellowed but its there. Man am I putting off working in the yard. Itís fucking cold! The taste is ok mainly due to the lack of tons of spices. There is an annoying unbalanced sharp bitterness that doesnít fit. Creamy and smooth feel. Medium roast, backend lasting tang, molasses, zip zoom zap zenith zlimgl, zwug, ztnvdjt, bit of an alcohol bite minus the alcohol taste. Pretty much forgettable after thinking about how it tasted. Finished pretty good with a light mouth watering sweetness. Next up - propane laced campfires.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Clear brownish amber, rich firm head. Aroma of pear and caramel. Sweet and full bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and brandy, solidly malty notes of wood and milk chocolate. Warming finish with slight white pepper and some bitterness.
