Espresso and Stout. A bewitching blend of two rich, roasted flavours. We use the finest fresh coffee to enhance the decadent pleasure of this dark and complex beer. Black as sin and just as much fun.

Wonderful coffee aroma, nice fresh coffee, not stale grounds. Taste also has lots of coffee, and fortunately no beaniness. Very full palate. Some vanilla in the finish. Remarkably drinkable given howhow huge the roast is. Lots of burnt malts, but no astringency. Coffee used very well. If you have to use adjuncts, do it like this.

Bottle from Bier Huis. Pours dark brown almost black in colour with a single finger tan coloured head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, dark fruits, raisins, herb. Taste of initial dark roasted malts, toffee, caramel, then we have chocolate, heavy carbonation, coffee, smoky flavours, some dark fruits. Nice.

Pretty disappointed to be honest love stout love coffee this should be a winner for me. Pours like cola to sweet on taste like an innis and gunn creation needs to be more smokey more bitter and more dry with some kind of head.

Bottle from steep hill wines, sheffield. Black ale with tan head. Aeoma is coffee and a bit of liquorice. Taste is rich and deep coffee bitterness. Quite thin for a stout, tingly carbonation.
