Cask conditioned at York Beer Festival ’14. Black with tan head. Initially this is quite sweet and fruity with a peachy edge but then a black coffee hint comes through, deeply roasty and dark, hints of dark chocolate. Improves through the beer and ends pretty decent.

Bottle - Dark bitter roast malts and some dark fruit. Jet brown with a rich light brown head. Dark roast malts and the espresso slightly in the finish. A light fruity acidity is in the background which diminishes the richness.
