COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hefeweizen. This refreshing Bavarian style wheat beer is a real Bad Seed. It was one of the first beers to break the Reinheitsgebot, the strict German purity laws. Rules about beer are silly, and we love the delicious taste of rebellion. 5.1% abv Ingredients: Malt – Wheat, Pilsner Hops – Perle

Bottle picked up by Lynn & Barry (cheers both) consumed at home, Sunday 7th December 2014. Pours a true hefeweizen colour and look, hazy with lovely clean white head, nose is spritzy, zippy and clean. A tiny bit sweet, gassy, bit burpy and refreshing, lovely wheaty back end. Soft in mouth a little creamy vanilla ice cream, lovely but I know if drinking in the summer I would rate it even higher. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden amber with nae heid. Nose - looking for banana and eventually I find a tried banana. Taste - more dried banana, quite malt dominated and lacking in sweet wheat notes. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a tangy finish. Overall - not a hefe but decent.

Bottle - golden with a fizzy, rocky off white head which eventually bubbles away to a ring. Aroma of wheat, yeast and some hints of banana. Taste of banana sweets, hay and hints of clove. Yeasty with some toffee. Light body, incredibly carbonation - a little unpleasant. It’s quite nice but the flavours pretty weak.

A golden yellow coloured, slightly hazy beer with a thick and frothy white head. A spicy aroma, hints of coriander and nutmeg, brought on by a tropical fruit, cereal malt and grassy hop. Dry mouthfeel. The taste starts off with a piney hop flavour, this brings on the spice, like coriander, cumin, and nutmeg, plus a tropical fruit, banana and grapefruit flavour. This is bolstered by a slightly sweeter cereal taste, that adds a balance to the flavour, and the long finish.
