3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy pale Amber/gold with almost no head. Aroma of oranges and lemons m. Quite a creamy taste (unexpectedly!) with plenty of banana, honey and clove flavours. A little bit of barnyard in the mix as well. Pleasantly fruity finish. An excellent and complex beer, but more like a Witbier in character than a Saison.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A mid amber orange coloured beer with a frothy white head. Strong, spicy aroma, peppery and a hint of clove, plus dusty malt and a zesty fruitiness. Dry and fizzy mouthfeel. A zesty, grassy and fruity taste to start, then a warming ginger led spice flavour brings forward a dry biscuity maltiness. The finish is zesty and spicy.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Beer Dock, Crewe. Pours like a piddle sample, quickly no head. Seriously lacking any dimension, disappointing. Some banana, light and easy to drink but boring.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl.
Appearance - golden amber and hazy. Some head.
Nose - gentle honey and ginger biscuits. Some lemon and yeastiness.
Taste - more honey and ginger biscuits.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry finish.
Overall - not a massive fan of honey or ginger in beer but this is decent. Can’t help thinking the underlying saison might have been better.
