3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On cask at Cloisters.
Appearance - golden amber with a decent head.
Nose - dominated by orange and hop resin herbiness. Almost hemp.
Taste - earthy and grassy maybe spicy too. Something root vegetable. Also of course some citrus. Orange this time.
Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long dry but balanced finish.
Overall - it’s a little gnarly but it’s certainly interesting and it grows as you take on its challenge.
