COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship year-round release WINDVANE stands strong through all types of weather and is a great fit for all seasons. Pouring a deep brilliant red, this is your go-to beer. If you want something hoppy, you definitely have it. American hops give WINDVANE a swift bitterness with piney, citrus and resinous flavors. If you want something with strong malt shoulders, you have that too. Roast malt layers add complexity and keeps the beer dry to showcase the hops.

Dark amber pour, clear, with a light tan head. Big hops here both in the nose and in the taste. Malts are pretty subtle beyond the color of this beer. Pine and resin hop forward.

Dark amber color with a malty and hoppy aroma. Very easy drinker with lots of malt and a crisp hop bite. Very solid offering from new Bad Weather brewing.

Tap. Clear dark amber pour, no head, but a little carbonation and some slightly metallic grain aroma. Flavor was slightly bitter rye, toast and light on the body. Decent offering, Id pick this up in store if the price was right.

Tap at Happy Gnome. Deep ruby-brown pour with a spotty white head. Mild citrus hop aroma. Rich grapefruit on the taste, good balance, solid.

Deep ruby pour. Aroma of citrus, with hints of bread. The flavor takes it to another level, though. The citrus remains, but is matched by a great, chunky, roasty malt profile that is more ambitious and complex than what Im used to seeing in most ryePAs. Maybe not as balanced as some others, but I like what they did here. Well done.

Pours a deep amber brown with a pillowy tan head that sticks around. Nice lacing. Citrus nose with a bit of bready malt coming through. Nice pine and grapefruit upfront with a touch of bitterness and malt finish. Thin carbonation is the only thing that distracts the mouthfeel. Really nice for an amber. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
