Nice dark ambar color, with a decent light tan head that lasts well. Has a fruity aroma, with a little malt and a touch of hop. Has a balanced bitter sweet taste, with fruits comming up. In the end gets more bitter than sweet in the mouth, and taste lasts for some time. Easy drinking beer, not too complex flavours.

Rating this because it’s the first I’ve had of craft Brazillian beer. Sweet and reminds me of a mead. It’s honey flavor comes in nicely but is a little metallic flavor. Not great but glad I tried it

A good beer amber color with aroma of malt with a clear and well balanced with English hops, slightly bitter aftertaste, very balanced. Beer is a strong English character, nice and great drinkability. For me, the only flaw in that it should have more cream than necessary for the style. I consider the best Baden Baden.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 westincosta (30) - Belo Horizonte, BRAZIL - SEP 26, 2010
For the eyes: amber colour; the head is small, off-white, frothy, mostly diminishing; cloudy body. For the nose: heavy hops - pine and orange. For the mouth: medium body; soft carbonation; bitter finish. For me: does not have the soul of the best beers in the style, but still a very good brazilian ’copy’.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Goba (71) - BRAZIL - JUN 28, 2008
A lot of malt and wood in the aroma. Copper body, with clear beige foam, dense one. Malt, herbs, caramel and wooden flavor, some toasted wood along. The alcohol was way too much there. The aftertaste stands for nice bitterness, even refreshing one. The alcohol feel comes a bit late, but strikes heavely also. / Bastante malte e madeira no aroma.

Bottle (600ml) shared with HogTownHarry, biegaman, IPFreely & swoopjones -- courtesy of swoopjones. Pours a hazy orange-copper with tons of little floaties and a small diminishing white head. Mild aroma of caramel malt, grain, some sugary sweetness and funky hops. Plain, somewhat dull flavour of caramel malt and light grassy hops. Medium bodied. I wonder what year this bottle was from, can’t be 1999? Naw. Anyways, it was just O.K.

Bottle (600ml). Shared with blankboy, biegaman, IPFreely and rudolf, bottle thanks to swoopjones. Light copper pour, quite clear, with no head at all. No idea how old this bottle was - it seemed a bit geriatric, but a pleasing experience regardless. The aroma was dry, very faint, weak light caramel malt and a hint of dry bitterness and an odd musty note. The flavour seemed tired - weak, flat, astringent - rather like a mild ESA - but it faded fast to a light stale bitter aftertaste. This was probably pretty solid a couple of years ago, right now it seems a little wan.

Bottle sahred with HogTownHarry, Blankboy, Biegaman & IpFreely. 1st review wrong beer. Like Harry said this seemed kind of old & everything was in Portugeuse. Light caramel color with light caramel flavor & sweetness. Flavor had light bitterness also but seemed rather faded. Decent
