Bottle from trade with sevenlee, many thanks. Dark red brown color with medium long lasting beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, brandy. Taste, roasted malt, coffee, burned sugar, light bitterness in background. Coffee bitter finish with burned sugar. Oh, label says 6,5% of alcohol. Good bock.

Sevenlee (535) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - JAN 8, 2011
Very dark reddish colour with a tall frothy/bubbly light brown head which disappears reasonably quickly. Sweet roasted aroma. Smooth taste which is slightly ruined by the caramelish sweetness. It isn’t totally lacking bitterness but the sweetness wins out. Overall a decent Bock but nothing to rave about.

hazy brown/orange, small immediately disappearing off white head, some lace. aroma of sweet malt, plum, vinous notes. flavor is mostly sweet malt, dried fruit, raisin and plum. perhaps not cloying, but definitely too sweet. weak body, oily mouth feel, sweet finish. wearily sweet, but at least not corny sweet. single bottle from binnys orland park.

Thanks to ghawener. I had tried Baden Baden before it was exactly as the other Badens I had tasted before. Very sweet of molasses and caramel. Too sweet for my taste.
