Bought from the Brewery in Campos do Jordão. A well balanced Pilsner. Beautful golden colour with nice white foam. Light aromas of fruit, light on the palate with a refreshing finish. Overall one of the best Brazilian beers if you can afford it. It’s not going to shoot to international fame but it’s solid, definitely worth a try if you come across it and gives hope that there might be more great things to come from Brazil.

Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - MAY 12, 2009
Sampled at a The LoSBD meeting, thanks to dm9831: This poured a pale yellow body with a slender fizzy head. It had a sugary sweetness with a touch of corn syrup to the aroma. The flavor had a light grassy bitterness join in at the midpoint. The finish was when it was over.

Aroma imperceptível. Coloração amarelo palha, com colarinho fino e fugaz. Sabor leve e pouco acentuado, com raro toque frutado cítrico. Boa carbonatação.

In general a fine pilsen, but nothing that would astonish me. Has a clean palate, with nice hoppy tastes and some small backfired malt. The finish is a bit dry, with reminders of sulfur and bitterness. It’s a nice balanced beer, but with too much water, I guess. Color was fine, carbonation was almost none. It’s a beer that gets the job done, no more, no less.

Beltramelli (471) - Campinas, BRAZIL - JUN 4, 2008
Coloração dourada clara. Creme claro pouco denso e consistente. Aroma muito fraco de malte. No paladar, porém, chega a surpreender com leve presença de lúpulo e cascas de laranja. Final curto e levemente amargo.

Bottle: Light beer, nothing spectacular but a nice change from the usual beer selection in Brasil. Plain, straight forward pilsener.

Bottle 600ml. Nice beer with a clear golden color and a nice white head. Refreshing flavor and low bitterness finish. Serve very cold...

Refrescante e gostosa. Desce leve e é forte.
