60cl bottle from Alphaville, SP, 7.5%, contains stabilizer and antioxidant. Pours pitch black with a nice brown creamy head. Nose of toasted malts. Aroma is full of toasted malts, coffee and dark chocolate. Strong bitterness too. Finish is long, toasted, spiced. Carbonation is moderate and body is almost full. Nice one, similar to Guinness Special Export .

Coloração escura como caramelo queimado. Espuma densa e persistente. Aroma de grãos torrados, incluindo café e chocolate. Sabor marcante com predominância leve de trigo. Amargor equilibrado.

BOTTLE.This tastes like metal and syrupy mild chocolate and this looks like no Michael Jackson nor Eddie Van Halen but more like an unsure dark brown (stout) with a small white head. And surprisingly boozy for a 6.5% alcohol beer. Not goodos at all. But not offensive though. Just like my cousin Louis. Or is it someone else’s cousin. I don’t know. I don’t remember. Just like this beer.

Super encorpada! Um misto de amargo com doce. Espuma densa e cremosa no ponto. Ideal para dias frios

Blairgus (1753) - California, USA - MAY 6, 2012
6 May 2012, bottle. black, clear, really thick, foamy head. nose is a sweet meaty aroma that i can’t decide if its nice or a bit off. there’s burnt coffee in there but the meatiness and blue fruit aromas are certainly dominant. med body and a bit fizzy. burnt chocolate flavor with some sweet meaty flavors. has a burnt but sweet caramel finish. i think this isn’t that nice. the caramel is a "cheap" flavor, the meatiness has not big stout flavor to balance it. there’s no complexity and the strong flavors aren’t that nice.
