I don´t understand the Baden Baden Stout´s sucess. In Brazil it´s price is almost the same of a Guiness. But Guiness and even Caracu (another brazilian stout beer) are much better than Baden Baden.

(Bottle) Pours black with a light brown head. The aroma holds smooth roasted malt with tones of chocolate up front. Undertones of coffee beans. The flavour is light to medium sweet and light bitter with tones of chocolate alongside hints of dark berries. The mouthfeel is soft and clean with a light carbonation. Light roast and hop bitterness lingers. Medium bodied. Well made and clean beer.

Product of Brazil, yes! This beer has very little, if any head. The head lacks that nice chocolate head I enjoy, but it does have that nice dark black color. There is a decent ash and sweet aroma. Decent aroma, overall. The beer has an odd aftertaste. The ash flavor stays with you a bit. I taste the coffee, but only slightly. As I said before, the ash is great. Decent palate. I could say that this beer is missing the nuance of flavors that a stout should have. Not a thick stout, it has an average palate. As the beer warms up the chocolate flavor comes out. Overall, good stout with a nice ash flavor.

Pours dark brown to pitch black, with a brown foam, regular density, pretty one. Coffe aroma, chocolate, roasted malt, some herbal hop thing, grainy and even some sulfur. Fluid body, with strong grainy flavor, nut-like ones. Some coffee and chocolate, with remarkable malt bitterness, along with herbs flavor. Bitter aftertaste, with notes of coffee and nuts. Moderate alcohol feeling. Flavors were difficult to appear. With some cheap chocolate goes for a nice bitter-sweet balance. Maybe too much carbonation in the mouthfeel. / Derrama marrom escuro para completamente preto. Espuma marrom, densidade regular, bonita.

From a 500ml bottle. From the beginning, the name and origin of this beer confused me. Baden Baden, from Brazil and a stout? After tasting it, I was very impressed. A very nice smooth, yet flavorful stout, yet with some interesting unique nutty flavors and alcohol content to blend in well with all the other flavors. Likely to be the best South American beer I have had to date.

No final, retrogosto metálico.
