A: The pour is almost black in color with a small, finger’s worth of tan head to go with it.
S: Interesting nose on this. There’s a definite smokiness to it that I wasn’t expecting, but it’s not overpowering. Plenty of roast and strong coffee/espresso. Lightly sweet, maybe some molasses and burnt toffee.
T: Lots of roasted flavor to the beer, and the smoke is subtle but present throughout the sip. Dark chocolate and coffee provide more roast and some bitterness. Not too much sweetness, but there is a nice balance.
M: Medium in body with a somewhat soft carbonation.
O: I think this is my first Brazilian beer and it was pretty solid. Good roasty stout with a nice bit of smoke.

Pours a dark brown-black .. . great big head, lacing is A- .. . cold coffee, mild acidity .. . light mouthfeel- fits with most brazilian brews .. . probably to thin to get any respect but a great brew none the less.. i don’t wanna get too messy by eating to many bombs...

Almost totally black in colour with a nice tan head that laces beautifully. Roasted aroma of coffee. Nice body with slightly sweet malty taste of chocolate and coffee with a really nice bitter finish. Rather creamy, feels nice and soft in the mouth. I really like this one. A solid stout.

600 ml bottle poured into a mug. Grat looking dark beer, with moderate head formation which disappears quickly. Aroma is at first mainly of coffee beans and roasted grains. taste and mouthfeel are great from the beginning, with hoppiness building up as you go. Very rich, smoky taste, with subtleties that are hard to pinpoint (raisins? oh, whatever...). Very interesting beer. The most pleasant and drinkable of all the stouts I’ve ever tasted. And that includes the much overrated Guinness thing...

Não entendo como faz sucesso custando quase o mesmo que uma Guiness. Sendo que é bem pior que a Guiness e tambem pior do que a Caracu. É uma grande decepção.
I don´t understand the Baden Baden Stout´s sucess. In Brazil it´s price is almost the same of a Guiness. But Guiness and even Caracu (another brazilian stout beer) are much better than Baden Baden.

(Bottle) Pours black with a light brown head. The aroma holds smooth roasted malt with tones of chocolate up front. Undertones of coffee beans. The flavour is light to medium sweet and light bitter with tones of chocolate alongside hints of dark berries. The mouthfeel is soft and clean with a light carbonation. Light roast and hop bitterness lingers. Medium bodied. Well made and clean beer.

Otima cerveja escura, densa e cremosa boa de apreciar (e tem que degustar mesmo, pelo preço salgado) pelo sabor nao dá para imaginar a graduação alcoolica, otimo produto artesanal.

Product of Brazil, yes! This beer has very little, if any head. The head lacks that nice chocolate head I enjoy, but it does have that nice dark black color. There is a decent ash and sweet aroma. Decent aroma, overall. The beer has an odd aftertaste. The ash flavor stays with you a bit. I taste the coffee, but only slightly. As I said before, the ash is great. Decent palate. I could say that this beer is missing the nuance of flavors that a stout should have. Not a thick stout, it has an average palate. As the beer warms up the chocolate flavor comes out. Overall, good stout with a nice ash flavor.

Pours dark brown to pitch black, with a brown foam, regular density, pretty one. Coffe aroma, chocolate, roasted malt, some herbal hop thing, grainy and even some sulfur. Fluid body, with strong grainy flavor, nut-like ones. Some coffee and chocolate, with remarkable malt bitterness, along with herbs flavor. Bitter aftertaste, with notes of coffee and nuts. Moderate alcohol feeling. Flavors were difficult to appear. With some cheap chocolate goes for a nice bitter-sweet balance. Maybe too much carbonation in the mouthfeel. / Derrama marrom escuro para completamente preto. Espuma marrom, densidade regular, bonita.

From a 500ml bottle. From the beginning, the name and origin of this beer confused me. Baden Baden, from Brazil and a stout? After tasting it, I was very impressed. A very nice smooth, yet flavorful stout, yet with some interesting unique nutty flavors and alcohol content to blend in well with all the other flavors. Likely to be the best South American beer I have had to date.
