BOTTLE.This tastes like metal and syrupy mild chocolate and this looks like no Michael Jackson nor Eddie Van Halen but more like an unsure dark brown (stout) with a small white head. And surprisingly boozy for a 6.5% alcohol beer. Not goodos at all. But not offensive though. Just like my cousin Louis. Or is it someone else’s cousin. I don’t know. I don’t remember. Just like this beer.

Cerveja com espuma de media a densa, corpo médio, com aromas se malte torrado de café e notas de caramelo. Leve, de paladar agradavel, com amargor seco, caramelo e café. Acompanha bem carnes e comidas picantes.

Aromas of burnt chocolate, milk chocolate, molasses, spearmint, fennel, dark roast coffee. Black, mostly lasting tan head. Earthy like a wet mossy log, woodsy, coffee flavors are more prevalent as it warms, herbaceous, green. Full bodied, quite lingering astringent finish.

350ml served in a Weizen glass. A: Pours a deep black color forming a big creamy beige head. Good retention and many lacings left S: Roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate. A bit too lactic dyacetil can be felt in the end, a bit annoying T: Follows the nose. Mild sweet upfront. Roasted malts, coffee, vanilla and dark chocolate. Warming sensation. Intense bitterness M: Creamy heavy body, medium carbonation. A bit molasses. Roasted malt aftertaste O: Good drinkability. IMHO, it’s closer to a Foreign Stout than to a Dry but anyways a great one. Baden Baden is definitely one of the best Brazilian breweries [ BA Review @ 7/31/2012 ]

Belo creme marrom, espesso e denso.

A dark brown stout with a thick collapsing mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light caramel, herbaceous character, OK. In mouth, a sweet chocolate malt with light coffee, light licorice, toffee, OK. Bottle from Extra supermarket Brasilia.

Bottled 600ml. -from big Carrefour in Sorocaba, Brazil. Black coloured, medium sized brown head, light roasty nose with hint of chocolate. Strong roasted malt, chocolate, touch of coffee and alcohol with pleasant dryish chocolate finish. For sure in TOP 5 Brazilian beersI’ve tried. 7.5%ABV.

A lovely chocolate coffee stout with the right amount of roasted barley & good carbonation. This is the best I have tasted from this Brazilian Brewery. Rated by BrewTom
