Bom aroma (tipico das weiss). Coloracao amarela turva, com boa carbonatacao e pouca retencao de espuma. Sabor tipico das weiss com boas lembrancas de cravo e banana. Weiss padrao, sem destaques.

600cl bottle at Ibis Tamboré, 5.2%. Hazy dark yellow with a nice sustained white head. Fresh on the nose. Aroma is quite floral, wheaty, soflty spiced, an almond tone, moderately fruity, a touch of yeast. Taste is neither sweet or bitter, light and balanced with a soft hoppiness, gently acidic and a bit of tartiness. Body is light to medium, crisp, dry, right carbonation. Good weiss considering being done far away from it’s mother land. Appreciated, OK.

Cor amarelo turvo (pálido), espuma densa mas de queda rápida. Aroma e sabor de fermento e banana. Ótima cerveja!

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2012 Not the biggest fan oh the pale yellow colour. But as the taste matter the most, I really liked it. Easy to drink, light (for a weiss one) and nice aroma. Very good surprise.

Bottle : Bought this in a grocery after having picked up some cheese, a Dr. Oetker’ pizza, and a Schweppes’s Citrus Tonic and before renting some DVDs at Blockbuster/Lojas Americanas, where we also bought un-tasty Ruffles© Mustard and Onions. I ate them after the beer since I wanted a pure and virgin beer tasting. I can’t say if I’m proud of me. It’s not that important, anyway. About the beer. I will not pretend this was a very satisfying one: it took some time to finish my bottle since I thought this was staggeringly dull (not offensive, not mediocre, just boring). Nose is the habitual mixture of bananas, cloves, lemons, wheat and oranges. Mouth is the same but missing the breadiness that normally flows from the style and there is also too much acidulousness in here, something I would say is more appropriate with Belgian witbiers. There’s some honey too. Why not? The look is OK (colour is cloudy golden-yellow). But before I finished less than half of my bottle, I got tired. This is a very standard weizen with absolutely no passion in it. I think the mouthfeel had something to do with this also. Let me explain myself (please): I love when my weizen gives me the impression of eating a banana bread. In this case, this is not what I got. And just after, I got another disappointment with my Ruffles©. But this story, I’m reserving it for www.taquitos.net (,_,)

Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a nice frothy white head. Aroma is quite wheaty with citrus and banana. Taste is also wheaty with fruits and banana but probably a little too acidic for my liking. Also very fizzy. Pretty decent Hefeweizen but not particularly special.

Bottled, 600ml. Hazy yellow beer with a nice and creamy white head. A good example of the style. Aroma is yeast with notes of bananas. Taste is fruity, notes of bananas and wheat.Refreshing and drinkable.

Cerveja de trigo da Baden. Não foi das melhores. Coloração bonita, amarelo turvo. Sem espuma, formou quando colocado no copo, mas desapareceu em segundos. Cheiro frutado. Refrescante. Cereais no sabor, frutada e docinha.
