3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at the brewery. Golden appearance with a white head. Sweet, slightly husky nose. A little twangy. Actually fairly dry in the mouth. Lightly floral. Fine.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. this stuff has come a long ways form when it first started. It is now a hoppy almost north german style pils that is immensely crushable.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma of fresh bread, some spicy herbs. Nice deep gold color with a huge white head. Sweet in front. Not robust, a bit week. Earthy bitterness melds in. Definitely a lighter pilsner....missing something. Finish is an average blend of mild sweetness and mild hops. Nothing special here but drinkable.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From 12-oz bottle pours a clear golden pale colored brew with an average sized off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, a hint of spicy grassy hops and a touch of spiced herbs. Taste is light to medium bodied, with flavors of golden grain malt and a hint of grassy hops. Finish is semi-dry with some roasted dry golden grain malt and a short spicy hop bitterness. Sorry, not even close to the original Baderbräu Pilsner flavor and profile I’ve enjoyed from Pavichevich Brewing Company back in the early 1990s.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
In this day of craft beer, sometimes it is nice to just go back to the old days and have a pilsner. Especially a pilsner with the flavor of a craft beer. A nice mix of both.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12oz bottle. Probably wouldn’t have bought this had I known it was brewed at Stevens Point, a contract brewery that never seems to make a decent product. Grainy, dirty, sugar mouthfeel. Not true to style at all, though there is some bready, doughy tones...reminiscent of a lager at times. Head fades away after a few seconds. Just an embarrassingly sub-par product.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A solid take on a Czech pilsner with a crisp hoppy finish, a light malt background, and balanced profile. Sessionable and at home with most foods. Finish is somewhat bitter and long.
