Mmm, alcoholic ginger beer, a bit too sweet for my liking. Pleasant enough for a change but I couldn't drink two in a row.
2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 madsberg (7528) - Søborg, DENMARK - NOV 26, 2002
This is a very special beer. Has a light amber colour with a medium lasting head. Is a little foggy. Aroma is definately ginger and has notes of sweet perfume. In the flavour the ginger is dominant which is quite delicious, but I really don’t know what to think about this. Initially its very refreshing, but in the end it gets a very sugary/perfumish taste and it’s almost nauseating. For me it’s a good beer to share, because the beer tend to be ’too much’. Thats why I rate it quite low despite the fact, that the beer has some good qualities.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 RichardGretton (3757) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2002
Basically a ginger beer with a nutmeg and slightly spicy edge to the flavour. A bit disappointed overall with the beer due to the narrowness of flavour.

This is a very interesting beer. The ginger is very obvious but not too much. Perfectly well-balanced and very, very exquisite. a little too bitter and dry in the finish.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 DrBeer (825) - Solna Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 27, 2002
Copper coloured.
Ham, citrusbonbons and spices. Somewhat strange beer with jammy ginger tone. The best one from Badger I think.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 neilrichards (191) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 22, 2002
I wasn’t sure what I was going to make of this beer, but once I tried it I was very pleased that I decided to give it a go. The amount of spice about it was just right, and the inspired inclusion of ginger made for a really interesting experience. Appearnce was quite dark brown, smell quite nice and slightly spicey. Good effort Badger!
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Hildigöltur (5107) - København, DENMARK - JUL 14, 2002
Very interesting ginger aroma. Wonderful flavour where the ginger is dominating but not destroying the other interesting tastenotes. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a long lasting aftertaste like this. This is both very interesting and very refreshing. Either you love it or hate it. I think it’s a suberb beer.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 jonas (4588) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAR 21, 2002
Flowery and sweet, i did not notice the ginger however - it tasted more like elder flower to me.

The ginger dominates the aroma and flavour and lingers on the palate long after youve finished the bottle. Leave it till the end of a session or you will be detecting interesting ginger notes in everything. Leaves a tingle all the way from your nose to your stomache.
