Very interesting ginger aroma. Wonderful flavour where the ginger is dominating but not destroying the other interesting tastenotes. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a long lasting aftertaste like this. This is both very interesting and very refreshing. Either you love it or hate it. I think it’s a suberb beer.

Bottled. I liked it so much! Crazy sweet ginger aroma and refreshing spicy herbal palate. Nice looking label as well.

Flowery and sweet, i did not notice the ginger however - it tasted more like elder flower to me.

This is a very interesting beer. The ginger is very obvious but not too much. Perfectly well-balanced and very, very exquisite. a little too bitter and dry in the finish.

Bottle, What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be. This is one of those beers that you pass by on the supermarket shelf thinking it will turn out to be another bland supermarket beer, But it is far, far better than that. Golden with a small head and pleasant ginger spiciness that dominates without being overpowering,Not a novelty beer like some ginger flavored ones are but a lovely spicy bitter with citrus and a lasting finnish. Not as common on supermarket shelves as some either beers and definitely worth hunting down.

Difficult beer to rate for me. Aroma - Ginger, Taste - Ginger. Ginger throughout, and also very sweet. Not at all hoppy or malty, the gingerness really does dominate. Pleasant enough, but one is enough as this becomes sickly after a while.

Bottle. Very interesting aroma of ginger. No doubt about that. Also a very strong taste of ginger. Good palette and good taste. 2 minutes after your mouth burns like you tasted pepper.

5.2%, amber colour with a thin head, slight aroma of ginger, sweet taste with hints of ginger, maple and vanilla, surprisingly nice.

500ml bottle. Pours a clear amber gold, with a small head, yet good lacing. The aroma is dominated by ginger, however, a small hint of toffee lurks in the background. Peppery hops start it off, followed by by the merest hint of sweet malt, and then an absolute heap of ginger. The palate is crisp and dry. I have to say, I love Badger’s practice of adding odd ingredients to their beer. Elderflower was inspired, and ginger is another good choice. It mixes wonderfully with the natural hops of a high-class bitter, although perhaps dominates little more than is really necessary. Still, this is quite enjoyable.
