UPDATED: JAN 11, 2004 Bottled. This is one of those beers that I though I'd had, and was surprised to discover I hadn't. Very sweet. The ginger is there, and it's very pleasant, but the sweetness overrides all else. It's like a poor quality ginger beer. Or, a ginger beer shandy made with a poor quality bitter. It's drinkable, but not that good or interesting. Re-rate Different day, different mood and I find myself enjoying the warm ginger spice. [2.7]
And again... Pastuerised Bottle. Supermarket. BBE Nov 04. Mostly a bland, well behaved pastuerised bitter. The ginger element is there, but it's not that attractive, though it does add an interesting element to the beer. Sweetness is a little too much. As before, I would say this is a poor quality ginger shandy. Points go down a little bit this time.

espuma pequena, aerada e branca, de longevidade bem reduzida. moderada formação de colarinho. corpo claro, ralo e amarelo-escuro. aroma: leve malte, lúpulo moderado, gengibre. if and ff: heavy sweet light bitter. palate: light medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, metallic finish. forte gosto de gengibre,mas doce demais e um pouco artificial, diferente da ginger ale, q é balanceada, exótica, mas muito enjoativa, lembra refri de gengibre, 30 s 13,9rs

Bottle.Amber colour with small head.Aroma of Ginger and spices,malty with medium body,flavor of caramel and hops with light flat finish.

Bottle. Aroma dominated by the spicy ginger with some fruits. Hops seem absent. Light amber colour with white head. Sweet flavour and nicely spiced with ginger which is totally dominating. There is no bitterness.

Flat looking amber. Spicy aroma, ginger. Gingerness is a bit OTT in the taste, burning. Quite thin. Gingerness sticks in the throat a bit much.

Tasted as blandford flyER. Very strong taste and aroma of ginger with some sweetness. Golden amber in ColorSync with a fading white head.

Difficult beer to rate for me. Aroma - Ginger, Taste - Ginger. Ginger throughout, and also very sweet. Not at all hoppy or malty, the gingerness really does dominate. Pleasant enough, but one is enough as this becomes sickly after a while.

Nice strong amber color, with a almost non-existent white head. Has a very interesting spicy aroma, with a taste of ginger. Taste like a soup of spices that begins with a smoth sweetness, with a smoked end. Flavour goes very well togheter, althought it is not a very easy drinking beer. Nice combination of flavours and aromas.

Cockney Pub, Aarhus, DK. Bottled, 120212. Light amber with small head. Aroma of malt and fruit. Flavour rather sweet with ginger tone. Bitterness (too) low

ginger aroma,golden, clear, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, oily feel, lively, long nice ginger finish.

Golden coloured and clear. Has a white head, medium duration. Malty aroma, light bread, but mostly spicy, ginger. Sweet flavor, more ginger, not very pleasent. Creamy texture.
