3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home. Attractive golden brown ale with small head. Aroma is "Turkish Delight", heavy on rose scent which is not unlike spicy American hops which is carried through to the flavour. In this case there I not a lot of hop bitterness. An interesting beer but not a session ale.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at home from a gift set. Bright gold, like a lager but deeper in hue. Fast-fading head and lots of bubbles. Smell is flowery, perfumed: rosewater with lagery malts. Weird. Taste is very sweet and artificial, again with a Turkish delight theme. Some bitterness pops up if I slurp great gulps. I try it from the bottle to ensure that it isnít my glass (it isnít). Final verdict: strange and a bit of a pointless beer, but not altogether bad. Badger core range beers are often fairly simple & inoffensive but good. So why are they mucking about with this sort of thing?

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Sainsburyís. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a broken frothy white head. The aroma is malty and aromatic hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth malty bitter hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A super refreshing summer ale. Really liked this.
