Very nice beer! Got this as a gift from visiting Englishman Vinnie. Thanks man! Poured with a nice head that mostly faded and some lace. Clear gold color. Light hoppy aroma. Seems fresh. Good malty flavor offset by american style hopping. Light body. Session beer. Wish I could get more. Good finish!

Dark Golden beer with fine white head. Floral aroma, also some hints of druid fruit and grapefruit. Sweet and bitter taste, also a distinctive floral taste which lingers. But not to sweet all together. Nice refreshing beer.
Hops been put in good use.

Bottle. Golden, hoppy and slightly perfumed. Bitterness appears after a while. Interesting and refreshing. Taste profile on the label that is fairly accrate and obviously aimed at a more sophisticated beer drinker. Nice.

At a tasting, clear light gold colour, almost no head, aromas of tropical fruits and rose petals with hints of tea, same attributes continue in the mouth with the tea becoming stronger, long and very pleasant sweet and sour finish. Suprising beer which does not feel very "english" with the hops being bolder than usually expected, but not over the top. Very good.

Nice and light. Very refreshing. Almost like a Golden Champion but slighty more watery. Lemongrass, hops and plenty of carbonation. Subtle finish with a metallic twang. Nice for quenching a dry throat.

Clear golden with a nice foamy head. An aroma of citrusflowers and hops. A fresh flavor with citrus and hops. Not many notes of malt.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2012 1) CRAP OLD RATE: Very intriguing. There’s nothing remotely ’quintessentially English’ about this, but I like it immediately. Pale gold pour with well-retained white head. The nose has an evocative whiff of the Belgian about it, with an unmalted barley fruitiness reminiscent of Vlaskop, Haecht or Witkap Pater Singel. Sniffs of pineapple, grape, melon and spice. Always that nibble of ginger lurking in the background. Flavour doesn’t quite realise its promise, but is still a quenching balance of tangy citrus, perfumey floweriness and hop biitterness. Embarrasses rival brewers’ attempts to capture the refreshing fruitiness of a Wit in a beer that doesn’t completely abandon its hoppy English heritage. Tasty, unusual and refreshing. 847416=3.9.
2) NEW RATE: Duped into a rebuy by the name change- automatic points deduction I’m afraid. Looks like it’s long overdue a re-rate anyway. Fizzing lager gold with a flat, speckling head. Aroma of lime and elderflower with dishcloth and matchbox hints. But I do get where I was coming from before with the Vlaskop comparison- bags of barley squash and wheat fruitiness. Pleasantly limey with lavender and more elderflower on the palate and a long, clean aftertaste with notes of wheat, bread stick and cashew. Holds up surprisingly well- could happily sink a few on the patio. If the bloody sun ever came out. 737314=3.5.

Bottle at Grove Arms. Pale golden pour with a tight white head. The aroma is softly hoppy with a bit of earthy spiciness. There is a little bit of light fruity character. Simple sort of bitter but decent enough. Moderate fruit with a little bit of soft white grape sweetness.
