The aroma hops used, Celeia and Cascade, are two of the most globally revered and have bags of character!

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2011. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with hoppy citrus hints.

Pale amber with a gentle aroma of citrus hops. Rather bland flavour tending towards honey malt. In common with most Badger beers, hops are quite muted and tend to settle into the background. All in all, not bad though and remeniscent of St. Austell Tribute.

pours amber with a frothy white head. light aroma of caramel. taste is similar, caramel, malt, biscuits, and some citrus. it has quite a delicate bitterness, and like most badger beers (in my opinion) its probably a bit thin.

A Badger seasonal ale - although when last I checked it still wasn’t listed on their web site! Nice colour, a little lighter than might be expected, but has a good flavour with malty notes and a slight, citrus hint.

Cask, half pint served at the very right drinking temperature. Golden-brown body, bright surface. Fine aroma of plain malts. Caramel malts up front to the taste buds followed by dried fruity notes and finish off with delicate bitterness. A pleasure to drink this in classical pub surroundings at St Stephens Tavern, Westminster (London, 31.07.2011).

Cask conditioned handpump Ship & Shovell London. An amber coloured beer with a whitish puddle of head and lace. A fruity aroma with some sweet caramel notes is replicated in the mouth where there’s a hint of diacetyl. A bit chewy and as average as expected.

Cask at The Prince Edward in Bayswater. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma is lightly plummy with some floral. Flavor is mild caramel and light darkish fruit (oxymoronic that?). Pretty much balanced. Mildly bitter. Refreshing after a long walk on a warm day.
