First bottle in 7 years. Dark orange with a big white head. Caramel in the smell and the taste follows. Sweet and easy drinking. No real aftertaste, but the beer is not watery. Some yeast noticeable. Decent session beer, but nothing special. Decent bitter overall.

Earthy, floral, tangerine-citrus hops over light caramel malts in the aroma. Clear chestnut brown coloured body is topped by a low and lasting, bubbly, off white head that coats the glass. Caramel and toffee malt characteristics with earthy, floral, citrus hops and light fruity esters leading through to balanced bitterness that though restrained fits well. Smooth, low but lively carbonation to the medium body

Brewed with average in mind? I hope not, this disappoints on many levels of bitterness, maltiness, body and I think is overly carbonated. at 4% abv though you could drink a few, I’m not sure you’d be happy to, but it’d give you time to discuss what a proper beer should taste like.
