1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours clear, amber. White head with small bubbles. Aroma is musty hay. Slightly sweet on the front, then a wave of something chemical and offputting, reminiscent of drinking from a pool. (Yes, this was a clean glass.) I think what I’m getting as chemical ick is the "Seville oranges" in the description. Medium body. Not a fan.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Amber with small cream head with varied sized bubbles. Not much aroma, a bit of hops, a hint of orange. Hoppy without being too bitter, nice grainy taste. I can see why they recommend it with cheddar. Thin mouthfeel. Nothing fancy, but solid.

Bottled. Clear copper colour with a small off-white head. A balance of grain/malt and english hops on the nose. Malty flavours with good body and a balance of sweetness with a bitter finish. A slightly biscuity, lager-like flavour.
