2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Distinctively peach-fruity aroma, slightly floral and almost perfumed with a mildly cara-malty backbone. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly malty taste with hints of wet paper and a present fruit-character with notes of apricot and peaches; moderately dry, bitter-sweet fruit-accented finish with a little hoppy bitterness shining through. A tad too peachy for my taste. 22.IV.14

Dourada e pouca formação de espuma. No aroma presença de suco de pessego e quase nada de malte e lupulo. Sabor decepciona, muito fraco. Final curto e um discreto amargor no retrogosto

One of our traditions of the start of summer, a cold glass of this in the garden. The peach flavour is quite strong, wouldn’t drink pints of it, but one glass, served really cold, goes down well

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear glass bottle, 500 ml, at home, poured into a Guinness glass. ABV 4.5%
Pours a deep golden orange beer, very clear body with minimal activity in it, small white head with average retention for its size, leaving medium lacing around the glass.
Aroma of peaches, very intense and sweet, like the ones cominf from a can or a peach flavoured ice-tea. I don’t get anything else since the peaches aroma is dominating but I find it to my liking.
Taste is malty, less peach now but still there, a little bit of toffee on the finish. Mildly bitterness on the aftertaste.
Medium body, okay carbonation.
Overall a weird beer, the combination of the sweet peaches aroma along with the flavours present, sure is interesting but at the end I am a bit uncertain if I would want another one.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
500 ml bottle bought at foodGARDEN in D2 Place, Lai Chi Kok.
Clear deep golden amber colour; Three-quarter finger head with soapy off-white foam which lasted for 1 minute; Good sticky lacing with fizzy carbonation; Very strong and sweet aroma of canned peaches, plus ale malt, melon, molasses, light floral, and faint grass; Light sweet taste of pretty light ale malt, with light peaches, floral, light molasses, dry biscuits, and fairly light lemon, thin grass and light bitter hops; Light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is fairly light, easy-going ale malt under strong influence of peach background, but not that strong in taste. Good floral backdrops, not that sweet at all, just thin molasses. Good and typical Ale dry biscuits. Simple and nice… Hoppiness is good floral and light grassy nose, light lemon and thin grass. Bitterness is light but subtle for a lasting, mildly astringent finish. I like it! Dry after taste. Easy, refreshing and slightly bitter to mouth.
Comments: This is a very likeable Golden Ale. Everything - except the heavy canned peach aroma - is on the light side and works really well for easy and enjoyable drinking. The subtle light bitter hoppiness is a nice touch. Perfect for chilling out or enjoying with cakes. A neat one!
