Here's a beer with a name that suggests you wake up with it rather than drink. It has the smell of alpine schnapps, peach schnapps that is. Bizzare floral and peach aroma fills the nostrils with first whiff. Does not translate into the taste as traditional bitters come through which surely makes this one memorable if only for the nose and not the flavour. One is certainly enought though. After that, novelty value wears thin.

Dark copperish hue, very peachy aroma, peach also dominates the taste but there are hop and melon undertones, full bodied, good ale.

The Peach flavour is acceptable on first opening, but gets turns to chemical notes as the beer sits, making the last third hard to take if just sipping. Not as subtle as the Lindemans Pecheresse, however it is good to see UK Breweries experimenting. Would improve by being toned down and in smaller bottle.

UPDATED: JAN 23, 2003 According to the label they add Peach Blossoms to this. Hence the very floral peach aroma. Sweet start, flowery, peachy, full flavoured, light bodied, slightly bitter and dry towards the end. Tastes like there flowers in their, didn't quite click with me, a bit simple.

Pour with light or no head and is of a deep golden colour. Has a light peachy and flora aroma which I quite pleasant. The peach theme follows though to the taste which has bitter and peachy tones. Overall a pleasant and refreshing beverage.

Light amber coloured beer with a medium creamy head. Strong peach-sweet aroma. Sweet fruity taste with a light bitter finish. The peach-fruity aroma and taste is a bit overwhelming. Otherwise it is quite balanced.

Very sweet and flowery a bit artificial in the hop aroma maybe. Dark amber color. Bitter aftertaste.

Very sweet peach aroma which blows you back & dominates the whole experience. Aroma doesn’t translate directly to the taste which is more woody & bitter. The aroma does stay at the back of your sinuses and throat during drinking which would make some think it tasted of peaches as well. Simply, the floral extrct is just too strong

Bottled. Aroma is of Peaches. It tastes of peaches - with a bit of alcohol thrown in for good measure. I would say it filled the gap in the market for an alcoholic peach drink - if it were not for Archer’s.
