I didn’t actually notice melon on the bottle - not a stunningly good idea, imho, but it’s there if melon is your thing. Other than that it’s quite dark for the style, balance is OK, slightly malty.

Pours a golden amber with a thin, white mostly diminishing head. A bit of lacing clings to the glass after this has lowered. Nose is of peach and blossoms, then hops and honey. Just a tad of sulfur is traceable. In the mouth it’s sweet, fruity - not much in the way of bitterness. Mouth feel is thin and fizzy. Would be better to have those melon and peach flavours actually coming from melons and peaches rather than flavouring; but it’s refreshing and inoffensive.

Bottle. Luminescent orange7amber colour, nice white head. Aroma is massive on peach and sugar, some yeast, melon as well as a small hop-profile. Taste is also huge on peach and fruitiness, sugar and malt. Low carbonation, slightly weak and watery body. Very refreshing, though.

500ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber gold, with a large yet quickly dissipating head. The aroma is dominated by peach, to the exclusion of almost anything else, although there is perhaps a hint of caramel malt lurking in there. As it passes the lips there is a strong peach flavour, moving onto a nicely fruity hops taste. Peach dominates the mid-section, giving a fantastic mouthfeel, and mingles with malt notes in the finish. Another excellent Badger beer!

A good summer beer that has distinctive fruity flavours without being cloyingly sweet. Peach is the main aroma, you’ll instantly get that when you pop the bottle top, but there are more subtle, juicy fruit aromas in there too. Flavour is balanced with a little maltiness and apricot, melon, honeydew, elderflower notes. Fairly thin in body, and a little short in finish. Could have done with a bit more quenching hop bite I think, but a dinstinctive and enjoyable beer nonetheless.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2010 Bottle @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours a light orange, fizzy body with a medium, bubbly white top. Smell is apricot and rose water. Taste is flowery apricot, roses, light malts and grassy hints of hops, only without much bitterness. Hints of melon and perfume-like potpourri. Damn, this tastes like a small flower shop! Interesting, but could’ve been much better with more floral hops and some bitterness in the back. Too sweet, and pretty soon I’m overwhelmed with the notion of quaffing rose water straight from the vase. Interesting, but not really my cup of tea.

Pours clear amber with thin and quickly dissapearing off white head. Very peachy aroma. Acidly peachy flavor with a little of bitterness. Somewhat flat on palate. Finishes with an artificial sweet aftertaste that turns into bitter one, not long lasting. Quite nice refreshing "summer beer".

Golden amber in colour with a fluffy white head. Aroma, PEACH!! There’s a little malt aroma in there too, but its definatey dominated by the peach aroma, not however overbearing. Flavour is more balanced, still plenty of peach and melon there but the malt backbone comes through with some good supporting hops to keep it all in balance.
