Bottle. Clear and golden with a thin slightly off-white head. Having a sniff of it and... BAM! PEACHES! Never smelled a beer remotely close to this before. It smells like those peach jelly sweets you can buy. In the mouth, theres still a peach jelly hint to it, but less-so - some gala melon scents. There’s malts and bitters and a decent balance. The finish is lacking unfortunately, and it’s a bit watery. But otherwise a nice ale!
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jimthechap (787) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 11, 2012
Gorgeous golden colour with a head like melted marshmallow on top of the beer. Aromas first, last and foremost of peaches, peach lollies, taffy and juicy peach sweeties; yes, it’s that peachy. Upon tasting there’s that peachiness, but it isn’t nearly as sweet as I was expecting. It is merely the lead character into golden ale. The enduring flavour on the finish (while peachy) is one of straw-like pale ale. The finish is short, a little too short. Not a favourite of mine mainly because it had the one trick pony character not backed up with good substantial body or finish.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2012
March 2009: 500ml Brown bottle, drank very close to its best by date. Poured into a vase shaped ’Old Speckled Hen’ pint glass.
Good looking beer, fine amber colour with an off-white foaming head. The body was bright and clear.
Incredible peach aroma, they claim to add extract of peach blossom to the brew, well you can certainly smell it.
The beer is far from sweet, but that peach blossom does come through in the flavours too. A good ’bite’ to the beer, tangy and hoppy too.
I am not a big fruit beer or sweet beer sort of guy, but this beer realy impressed me. Had I read the label more carefully I doubt I’d have bought it, but glad I did. The 4.5% alcohol holds up well and although I have reviewed plenty of beers from this brewery, this is one of the best in my opinion.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 jmgreenuk (22) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - APR 28, 2012
Bottle courtesy of Tesco :-). This one of my favourite summer beers. The label says its refreshingly peachy and they are not wrong! Some might consider it overpowering, but for me it works well with the bitterness of the hops. Everyone who I have served it to really enjoyed it. Don't over chill it or you won't enjoy the full flavours of this excellent and very much underrated beer.

Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and heavy peach. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Strange beer with all the peach flavors. 150412

Bottle from Tesco, Syston. Pours a nice, clear amber. The large head doesn’t hang around for long. Aroma is strongly hopped with peach. Yes, there’s peach in the taste too but this is also bitter, grassy and metallic and a tad dry. Very mild sweetness. Mouthfeel rough and carbonated. I can’t make up my mind whether I like this or not - it’s not like any other ale I’ve had.

Peachy aroma and sweet in the mouth, I like this one, and I’ll strongly recommend it.

Peach dominate on the nose. Peachy, fruity, moderately sweet flavor with a mild bitterness. Light to medium body. Smooth. Floral, fruity notes linger in the end. Quite pleasant.
