2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ungstrup (23918) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 7, 2003
An amber beer with a small head. The flavor is sweet with a powerful peach note. The flavor is carbonated, peach (powerful), sweet, and slightly earthy. An OK beer though not that much of a standard interpretation of beer with the strong peach presence.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Papsoe (22946) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 11, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful amber coloured beer with a rather small head. Extremely fruity, fresh aroma, and the peach extracts linger all the way through the finish. At first sip I miss some sweetness, having difficulties grasping the concept of fruit and bitterness. But later on the lacking sweetness appears as a strength as it refrains the beer to cloy up. Quite unique. 030303

Bottle, 4.5%. Peach candy aroma. Clear dark golden colour. The flavour has less sweetness than the aroma, but there is still plenty of peach flavour. Too much, actually.

50cl bottle: Copper gold with a egg white head. Hop aroma - peach, citrus, floral & grassy. Very fruity - mainly hops. Medium body & carbonation. A bit sweet. The heavy peachy notes gets too dominating! Fresh & drinkable beer!
