Borresteijn (105), Amstelveen, Netherlands Jul 13, 2008 Bottle @ home. Expectations were not too high after the Fursty Ferret, but this was quite good actually. Looks nice, amber colour, white head. Very fruity (peach) nose, little cardboard in there, some hops. Taste is peach, but not too sweet, so quite refreshing. Nice hoppy finish. johndoughty (1565), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England Jun 27, 2008 Bottle.Orange appearance with a lovely fruitiness. The peachy flavour that dominated is unusual but definitely makes for an unusual but classy beer. Some hops and bitterness add to the complexity.
Usually I think beers like this are just for novelty but this really is excellent.Highly recommended.
