"Bound to satisfy".
Current description: Hopping Hare is thrice hopped with three types of hop used during the brewing process. Aromatic Goldings and Cascade combine to provide an uplifting citrus-grapefruit and floral aroma, whilst First Gold carries the bitterness. The effect is a refreshing ale with a unique hoppy aroma and well-balanced bitterness that is bound to satisfy! It is a terrific match with roast lamb and spicy Thai dishes!
Previous description: Triple hopped - Super Styrian hops added twice to the coppers then Styrian Goldings added.

Clear 500ml bottle, 4.4%, BB June 2016 so presumably quite fresh. Clear light amber, sparkling, big foamy white head. Aroma has some mild cheddar, damp and some tangerine in the background. Not as bad as I’m making it sound. Body is medium, rounded and a little foamy. Taste is biscuity malts, some citrus zest and resin, clean and crisp with a soft bitterness. Drying lagery finish with some metal tang. Decent enough.

50cl bottle. Appearance - golden with a thin head. Nose - a bit butterscotch to be honest. Then it clears and there’s honey and a grassy note. Taste - a bit fresher. Some citrus as well as the honey. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - not worth getting another.

Lighter malt and some light Apple-y fruit on the nose. In the mouth it has pea-shoots, coppery metal and a little biscuit. The finish is a mixture or pepper and metal. Drinkable but I’m not the biggest fan.

Not much aroma, poured with heavy carbonation giving large white head,, pale golden colour. Initial tart taste and feel but recedes to nice smooth tastewith slight citrus, bitter aaftertaste. Nice drinking after initial carbonation has ceased.

Bottle received as a gift. Pours amber/gold, thin and quickly fading head. Bit of a zesty undercurrent to the buttery/biscuity taste which saves it from being too bland
