3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bright, golden orange beer with a weak white head. Light hoppy nose, come fruitiness, with a little hint of caramel malt. Dry mouthfeel. Initially bitter taste, with the hops creating a slightly citrusy fruit flavour, then a smoother, caramel malty flavour comes through that gives the beer a well rounded finish.

Olut on kullan värinen ja muodostaa hieman valkoista vaahtoa. Näyttää lasissa kirkkaalta ja kauniisti poreilevalta. Tuoksu on sitruksisen hedelmäinen. Maultaan sitruksinen, katkera, keksinen ja maltainen. Keskihiilihappoinen. Ei niitä parhaita bittereitä, mutta ei ihan huonoinkaan.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle (Black Door, Helsinki)
Slightly dull sweet caramelly malts, a little bit of english hopping, but has that weird Hall&Woodhouse fingerprint that’s hard to describe. A bit "processed". Typical english bottled bitter appearance, but as it’s a clear glass bottle I think it looks unprofessionally delivered to my glass. MIght explain some of the aroma too. Taste is an indistinct bitter and caramelly malt combo, a touch sharp as if it’s trying to be citrussy, but the hops are too old for that, or it’s lightstruck. Some mushroominess later too. A fairly full body, quite smooth, and with nice carbonation. The bitterness is quite sticky, and leaves a little tingle briefly, as well as some spicy nettles. Not a fan of new badger, but this is a fairly pleasant beer, in particular for a dead bottled beer.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled 500ml (K-Kamppi, BB 12/2012, alc. 4.4 %)
Clear bottle, blah ...
Clear amber-golden color, small steady white head, lace. Citrus-fruity aroma. Light to medium bodied. Citrusy, almost grapefruity crispyness, then typical English nutty-caramel notes. Finish is just too empty, with higher gravity would have more power.
