Bottle, from Tesco. Gold, thin white head and gentle condition. Pleasant sweet melon and gentle earthy hoppiness. Full and floral in the mouth with some underlying hoppiness and some underlying burnt caramel notes, gentle bitter sweet earthiness in the finish with more lingering sweet caramel.

Bottle. Golden with an off-white foam. Aromas are very hoppy and floral - typical Badger, really. Peach with resinous citrus. Flavours are caramel malts with soft floral and spicy notes. Sweet hops on the finish. Buttery on the palate. Decent.

Old rating, moving from cask to Bottled: Caramel, citrus, overly sweet to be honest.

I liked this - it had all the things I like in a bottled ale: hoppy, bitter, dry. Very quaffable - had that earthy little Badger taste too.
