3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 imdownthepub (7461) - Banbury, - JUL 5, 2009
Cask conditioned at St Stephens Tavern, Westminster, London. Brown to amber with white head. Initially quite a standard light golden ale, but then you notice the acidic lemon flavour from the lemon grass, tangy and slightly sticky in character. Its an easy drinker and pretty reasonable.

Not as citrusey as I was expecting - light, well balanced, decent session ale.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 wheresthepath (1083) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2010
[Cask at Ship & Shovell, Charing Cross, London] Darker amber than you’d expect in a summer beer. Fruity aroma, but a little sulphur in their too - not sure this was in the best condition (surprising for a GBG entry). Predominantly fruity taste too, with lemon arriving late. Surprisingly thick mouthfeel - again, perhaps not ideal in a summer beer? Not convinced by this one.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 mR_fr0g (81) - Surrey, ENGLAND - JUN 14, 2010
Cask-conditioned at the Ship & Shovell, London 10/06/10. Deep amber colour with hint of lemon in the aroma. Nice nutty malt character balanced well with the citrus lemon flavour. I had about 4 pints of this. Very drinkable. A good session beer for the summer.

Cask-conditioned at the Ship & Shovell, London 05/06/10. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Slightly sweet malt aroma, with some orange and citrus hops. Flavour of caramel, followed by a touch of lemon dryness and lingering bitter finish. Enjoyable.
3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 will1 (140) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2010
New Inn, Salisbury. Darker than I expected for a summer ale and served in a branded stemmed pint glass. Aroma slightly lemony, lager like. Lemon grass flavour refreshing: not subtle but not too much. I preferred this to a couple of the other flavoured Badger beers.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Alphadelic (1470) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 25, 2010
This smells like a really good shandy an has really skunky hops in the mouth. A strong lemon punch with perfect dryness. I really like it.
