leaparsons (3798), Leicester, Leicestershire, England May 17, 2008 Bottle. Amber gold with a small head. Aromas are sweet, earthy and herbal with light citrus and berry. Has the typical Badger floral aspects. Flavours are sweet toffee malts with sweet lemon and dark berries. Some caramel with herbal, medicinal notes. Earthy in its hops with hints of nuttiness. Fruity and dry on the finish, like a semi-ok version of the Ruddles Rhubarb.

Orangy sherbet aroma - almost a soft drink. Unbelievable similar taste - sweet, fruity, sherbetty, like a children’s sweet. Very refreshing, though. Quite tangy hops in places. So very odd with its outrageous fruit coctail (as in the sweeties) fizz schizophrenia. cellar (261), Dublin, Ireland Jul 15, 2008 Light amber and no head, fresh fruity aroma with hints of berries. Very sweet and long artificial sweet finish...it sure is gonne be looon days with this one! DruncanVeasey (1533), Burbage, Germany Jul 6, 2008 Updated: Jul 8, 2008Oh dear, looks like I’m on my own here... I know it’s wrong and it probably contains fruit juice and chemicals, but there’s something about the combination of raspberry and the pastryish sweetness of the Badger yeast that works here. Before the saccharine bitterness kicks in. Yes it’s sweet, yes it’s gimmicky, yes it’s a bit synthetic, yes the raspberry suffocates everything else, but....I like it. Raspberry ripple, shortcake, a nibble of hop bitterness. Almond in the aroma as it warms. OK. scotty (722), Scotland Jul 6, 2008 Deepish gold with slight pinkish tint. Head has a big soapy bubble appearance, and that fades away in less than a minute. Light fruity raspberry nose, light bodied, fresh and clean, quite zesty. Finish is minimal, certainly not a classic. Sainsburys. joe1961_2 (357), camberley, Surrey, England Jun 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light amber colour with no head. Plenty of raspberry in the aroma. Plenty of raspberry in the taste which is not too sweet. I have to say this is my first and last bottle.
