Bottled. Pours a real amber colour with a soft head. The beer is smooth with a hoppy favour with a soft malt substructure. Pleasant but not a stand out.

Maria (8572) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2007
Dark amber, nice head. The aroma is both hoppy and malty. The flavour is quite full and smooth with brief sweetness and a refreshing bitterness. It has notes of roasted malt and the brew has a nice balance and is quite charming.

Bottle. Amber with a large beige mostly diminishing head. Aroma of some malt and hops. Moderate bitter hoppy flavour with a light roasty maltiness, some sweetness. Moderate bitter finish. A tasty English ale.

Bottle 08/09/2001 Mid brown in colour with a slightly gassy aroma. This is fortunately somewhat alleviated by the malt finish.

A superior beer to the newer vertion, though this bottle was a litle out of date. Aroma is balanced, with some toffee malt, minimal though. Taste is similar heading more towards the bittering/grassy hops, still very light though. Alright.
