imdownthepub (7461) - Banbury, - JAN 1, 2008
Cask conditioned at The Masons Arms, Marylebone, London. Red brown beer with off white head. A fuller flavoured winter brew for a change, fruity and warming with a touch of hazelnut flavour around. Malty rich but unfortunately a little cloying sweetness too. Still reasonable beer in a very nice pub, good stuff.

Cask (handpump) @ Penderel’s Oak, Holborn, London, England WC1V.
Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, burnt caramel. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20081230]

bobinlondon (1179) - Harrow, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2009
Handpulled cask at JDW Baker Street. Mid brown with an off white head. A real malt monster. I found this sweet and cloying for a mid strength beer. It was the wrong choice to wash down my excellent spoons vindaloo.

Mid brown copper pint, taste is fruity, earthy and quite sweet, a little spice, mild finish. Decent enough.

KnutAlbert (4587) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 5, 2008
Cask at St Stephens, Westminster. Id classify this as a winter warmer. Full of rich malty goodness. Christmas pudding dark and dried fruit. Some bitter hoppiness in the tail balances it quite well.

Cask at Peacocks Farm, Bracknell. Dark chestnut with an off-white head; fruity apple aroma; nutty malt flavour; prolonged hoppy bitter finish. Nice, but not outstanding.

larsga (4650) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 19, 2007
Medium creamy offwhite lasting head with a coarse surface. Amber body. Sweet fruity aroma with floral hop notes, quite rich. Sweet mild earthy stale fruity taste with tea notes. Flat, and a bit off. Dry musty wooden malty aftertaste. Tastes like it’s not entirely right; should rerate. (0.5pt cask at the Prince Edward.)
