Cask@GBBF2007. Dark amber colour, slight dark orange colour, mediumsized white head. Lots of caramel, fudge along with some hints of wood and sweet fruits. The same goes for both aroma and flavour. Quite nice brew. Aftertaste leaves a nice touch of caramel and flowery hops.

Cask conditioned at The Masons Arms, Marylebone, London. Red brown beer with off white head. A fuller flavoured winter brew for a change, fruity and warming with a touch of hazelnut flavour around. Malty rich but unfortunately a little cloying sweetness too. Still reasonable beer in a very nice pub, good stuff.

Bottle. Dark brown beer with a fairly strong head. The aroma is roasted, warming, toffee and dry. The flavour is very bitter with a roasted and toffee feel. Overall a fairly average beer.

Bottle. Overly sweet with lots of toffee, fortunately there are some toasty flavours to provide extra interest.  Slight boiled bottled flavours to the malt, hops not noticeable other than as a bit of mild bitterness in the finish.
