Bottle. Tawny appearance and a pleasant freshness about it. Slightly malty with a medium body. Impressive.

Slightly soapy but strongly flowery and spiced nose. Pours ruby/copper with a persistant beige head. Good nutty malt balanced with a strongly dry hoppy bitterness in the flavour consistently from start to lingering, dry finish

Cask conditioned at The Masons Arms, Marylebone, London. Red brown beer with off white head. A fuller flavoured winter brew for a change, fruity and warming with a touch of hazelnut flavour around. Malty rich but unfortunately a little cloying sweetness too. Still reasonable beer in a very nice pub, good stuff.

Amber with a white head. Sweet slightly buttery malt aroma. Malty taste with some sourness and a mid bitter finish. Good winter beer.

Cask/GBBF. Dark copper beer with a small white head. Perfumed fruity aroma, figs among other things. Sweet and fruity flavour.
