3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Tesco. Mahogany colour with lasting beige head. Malty dusty slight Badger yeast and pepper hop on the aroma. Malty in mouth. Horrible pasteurised empty candy sugar towards end of palate. Sweetish ESB style finish. Yeasty ESB. It’s fine.

Of all the Badgers I have tried today this is by far and away the best. Fruity, dark, clear and delicious.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
50cl bottle poured into a tall glass on 14/06/2015. Clear copper colour. Medium tan coloured head which dissipates. Slightly fruity aroma - plum and berries. Medium carbonation; medium body. Flavours of caramel, malt, molasses and berries. Sweet fruit flavour dominates with spicy malt bitter aftertaste. A good English strong ale.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: Medium-light pear, dark fruit. berries (blue, rasp) No Licorice.
Appearance: Clear, dark copper body. Large, tan head. good retention.
Flavour: Medium blue/rasp berries, Medium-light dark fruit, Medium-light malty sweetness. Light toffee. Medium dry finish, lingering blue berries. Medium-light bitterness. no licorice.
Mouthfeel: Medium-full body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: The fruitiness is stunning! I have no idea what a "damson" tastes like, but if it is like blue/raspberries then it tastes awesome! The advertised licorice is no where to be found, causing the beer to lose points. But still very yummy!
500 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma is sweet, like berries (strawberries, cherries and blueberries?), liquorice, and caramel. A little bit of earthy hops coming through. The fruity esters (which who knows where they come from) are a bit too bold, like Jolly Ranchers. Thick, syrupy body, with plenty of sweetness. Just enough bitterness to balance. Smooth.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dark clear golden beer with frothy/sticky but short lived off white head. Rotten apple and yeasty aroma. Low carbonation but still a good fizz on the tongue. Flavour has candy sweetness, dandelion and burdock, dark malt, slight medicinal quality. Complex yet well balanced beer. Not too rich. Finish is a brown sugar coated fruit salad.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark copper colour with a frothy white head. Medium body. Big fruity / floral aroma. You have to look for it but the licquorice is there - at the back of the nose and the taste. The sweet jammy fruits dominate the flavour with a hint of spice and almond - the beer equivalent of a Bakewell tart. Very smooth and probably too sweet to have more than one.
