sm89walt (179), Norwich, Norfolk, England Nov 18, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear golden amber colour with a small white head, which slowly fades. Fruity aromas combine with a malty tone and an occasional odd metallic smell. Nothing complex, flavour wise; a simple caramel and fruit blend. Quite a bit of carbonation and a moderately thin body make this seem quite weak. The finish is easy with liquorice notes and a slight bitterness.
Pyobon (170), Sydney, Australia Sep 16, 2008 Bottle. Clear amber with decent head. Aroma of hops and malt, but with some other less pleasant notes (rubbery?). Medium body and carbonation. Fruity, floral foretase, moves through sweet malty and grainy tastes to bitter hoppy finish. A decent drink. oh6gdx (6343), Vaasa, Finland Aug 31, 2008 Bottled@Chris O Post GBBF tasting.Amber colour, small beigeish/white head. Aroma is rubber, plastic pipe and some mild fruits and grass.
