500ml bottle. An easy drinking solid ESB, there is nothing bad about it but nothing to make it stand out from the crowd. It pours light amber with a very thin head. The taste is bitter, slightly sweet at the back end and refreshing to drink. I think it would go well with a bbq food on a hot day.

Pretty generic macro golden ale. A bit on the sweet side. Not terrible but not memorable.

The foam beads glorious, but unfortunately not long for this great clear amber ale. It smells pleasantly of both fruit and hops and tastes robust spicy. Likewise, the taste is dominated by a good hoppy bitterness in the mouth mixes well with a fruity malt and yeasty. The finish is dry and slightly marked by citrus. It also has a pleasant hoppy bitterness. Unfortunately, it has a little touch of something metallic in the taste. The reason is of course that I enjoy a can version. Therefore, I must soon acquire me a bottled beer, for it is certainly worth trying again.

A lightly eggy english yeast on the nose with a hint of nettle and grainy malt. It’s alright, a little sweet in a malted milkshake sort of way. A light carbonation and a hint of bitterness in the finish. I can drink it fast but it passes without demanding much attention.

Gold with a small white head. Dull aroma with oranges, boiled lollies, some spices. Fairly sweet with hay, lolly-like oranges and pears. Sweetness is met by moderate bitterness, some dusty spices at the dryish finish. Not terrible but rather lifeless.
