Amber coloured. Quite boring and thin. Sweet flavour with some bitterness in the finish.

Mid amber brown coloured beer with a weak white head. An initial hoppy nose is soon taken over by a strong, cereal malt aroma, slightly sweet and syrupy, there is however a distinct yeasty smell in the background. Dry mouthfeel. Bitter taste, malty flavours are prominent, cereal and biscuity, slightly sweet. The finish is somewhat different, with a slightly zesty fruit element. Quaffable, if allowed to breathe after opening the bottle!
3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 buggybill2003 (11) - - MAY 18, 2012
A fine tasting ale, neither one thing or another that could be enjoyed by beer and lager drinkers, at a push. I class this as my everyday beer, which can be enjoyed with various foods, including curry.
Slightly sweet then bitter taste, refreshing on a hot day when we get them....lol

0,5l bottle. Clear amber color. Medium thick head. Hops dominates in aroma, faint metallic notes. Buttery bitter flavor, grassy hops.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Vaiz (2034) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAY 9, 2012
Bottle at home. Clear deep golden pour, foamy white head. Aroma of malts, grainy and with some chemical hops. Flavor is somewhat bitter, quite malty, and a bit boring. Slightly grainy and cheap in the finish. Not that bad, but nothing special.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2012
The bottled version does not hold a candle to the cask beer that I often have in one of my local pubs.
Looks good, light amber with a good creamy head.
No real aroma, malt and hops with a slight floral smell.
The taste and mouthfeel appear weaker than the cask beer, but still has a kick to it.

Not a really fine smell, but definitely easy on the mouth, some fruity sparks and sweet in the end.

Bottle (500ml, Tesco):
Muted fruity aroma to begin with and a hint of subdued hops although the fruity notes really start to open up once the drink has time to settle in the glass. There is a sugary sweetness to this one, perhaps aided slightly by the fruit and I can also detect some vanilla in places.
Dark amber in colour with a creamy thumb sized white head.Very little in the way of reduction in size over the course of a few minutes.
Fruity & very sweet to begin with along with a hint of vanilla that the smell indicates would be present. I can also taste some faint toffee and a sugary, malty flavour; all of which is well balanced.
Medium bodied and with a creamy feel to it. This is quickly followed by a clean finish that is a little bitter and quite dry.
A solid beer that scored slightly higher than I was expecting from it without it being truly memorable. It’s not a beer that I come across all that often but I would have no trouble drinking it again or perhaps giving it a bash on cask.

Can 500ml at the Dicken’s, Good malty ale. Aromas of nuts and grapes. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and average length. Palate is oily, and medium bodied. Orange, with a frothy head.

50 cl bottle in London. Golden, clear with a small offwithe head. Strange aroma, like canned ham. Tastes a bit hoppy. Not a good beer at all.
